It has to be. Sounds like the thing that ESPN would work out with Saban. I don't think Saban would care if gameday showed up on Saturday.

It's not Gameday, but the ESPN All-Access show, which shows a program's weeks worth of preparation for an upcoming game.

usually only a couple times a season though

I think the LSU - UF game from 2009 held College Gameday, but was televised as the CBS Night game that year. So it can happen, but doesnt happen much.
This definitely sounds like a week where they should make the exception.

Look, I'm not one to say Gameday stuff should be known like its some big time event, but do you honestly know how many games Gameday has been to where CBS was broadcasting it? At least 2 a year.

They had College Gameday at the Alabama-South Carolina game last year and that was a CBS game.
