I'm a die hard UNC fan, always have been, but lately it's become clear that our administration doesn't give a frick about football (firing Butch Davis, rumors about our chancellor wanting to hire some fig AD who doesnt care about football either, etc)
therefore i plan on pledging my fandom to another school who cares about football and represents what i support
so fans of the SEC, convince me why i should support your team

obviously i'll always love my heels, but i want a bandwagon team to support for the rest of my days that i can at least always trust to have football #1 priority, not academics or basketball

Because our AD cares and helps keep UF competitive in all sports. Basically, UF is a top 3 athletic program in the country. Jump on the wagon, there's room. Go Gators!

well if we get a nifty new coach you can get on the bandwagon before we begin to run shite for the rest of my lifetime. you'll look brilliant.
also fwiw UNC is my 2nd favorite team, they help me get by in basketball season

saw my first game in the dean dome last year vs NC ST

You should go All In with the fambulee.
You seem like a perfect candidate.

Bama is your obvious choice. As a UNC fan, you undoubtedly expect to win the ACC basketball tourney and regular season every year.
Bama is no different in football. Trying to get there in basketball.

went to the LSU-UNC game last year and met a lot of awesome LSU fans. also went to AU-LSU last year and had a great time in auburn so I'd say those two have a small advantage

Arkansas currently has a former NFL head coach who has taken two different teams to BCS Bowl games signed to a long term contract with a big buyout. We are just coming off our first BCS Bowl birth, and are poised to break into the nation's elite over the next several years.
Arkansas hasn't experienced that kind of success in football in a long time, so it will be really exciting experiencing such success with us who have been success-deprived for a long time in football.
Also, we have great athletics all around. We just hired Mike Anderson as basketball coach, so look for our basketball team to return to its former status as a perennial NCAA tourney team.
Our baseball team has been very competitive as of late, and some more deep postseason runs are expected in the near future.
Arkansas does not have a big time rival or competition instate, so you won't have to deal with the incessant back and forth like other fan bases with big rivals have to endure; although LSU fans keep trying to have a rivalry with us.
