Today was the first full day of current programming for the new all sports radio station.
I'll give it a 5 on a scale of 1 - 10.

3pm-7pm: Rick and Bubba Replay
Nights/Overnights: Yahoo Sports Network

Just what Birmingham needs... another station for Legend to call 3 or 4 times a day.

Only heard about 15 minutes this morning with Eli and Stan White, as I start work at 6:30, and after work the Rick and Bubba replay was on......so, I'll reserve judgement until later. It will be difficult to beat the established OD though.....we'll see.

I hope Stan has a better studio than the piece of crap one he and Roger Schultz use for their show.. That show is like torture to listen to on Sundays.

The network seemed rushed to me. I would expect a new station coming online would make a big splash with great guests, etc. But what little I listened to was not too exciting.

i would blame most of that show's problems on roger schultz. dude is obnoxious and pretty much overtakes any conversation he is part of.
i think this is the best line up the station could patch together for the time being. i bet it'll be totally different in a year's time.

I listened to Eli and Stan this AM, and they were a nice change from the self congratulatory trio of Barker, del Greco, and Kurre.

yesterday when he was coming in from a commercial break he played take this job and shove it. normally he just plays about twenty seconds of a song but he let it play all the way through. thought it was kind of funny.
and I've never listened to Brando before but his show wasn't bad.

I can deal with Roger, he never really bothered me. It was the god awful home basement studio they broadcast out of. It sounds super low quality and cheap.
