That's exactly why I am pissy cause it is damn hard to get a name change here. Chicken would probably permaban all those who asked rather then deal with it.

Yeah, but, it's VERY unlikely both will join. Even if they did, it definitely wouldn't force 2 premiere SEC schools to change their names. If anyone would change it would be the 2 news schools entering. Although, I don't understand the reason why it would be necessary for any school to change their mascot names just because it's the same.

No one inside the state of Louisiana really refers to LSU as the "bayou bengals". It's all you rednecks from out of state

I've never called LSU the "bayuo bengals." But I have referred to LSU as the "Corndogs".
