We do our best to make the unreasonable and ridiculous feel unwelcome. It doesn't keep all of them away, but it works occasionally.

Ironic a cellar dweller would say this. You all jump on a poster who doesn't agree with your delusion down in the cellar without hesitation.

In fact you all use the RA button without thought. GTFO

Well, I think what happened is that he got pissed off at the same people in the media that normally kissed his sack to come on their show and do segments were all of a sudden slamming him. I'm not saying he handled it the correct way, because he didnt. Not by a long shot. But then after he popped off and said what amounted to "You dont believe me? Fine ill prove it to you", he realized that he really couldnt prove it to anyone.

He made a bad decision, made an even worse decision to retaliate, and now is paying the consequences.

I still feel bad for him. He made a string of bad decisions. We all do that occasionally, usually we dont destroy a nationally known and respected career in the process though.

Thats just how I feel about it.

Well so long as he takes a truth serum i'll be ok with him. Seriously though, suggesting that he'd take a truth serum was some of the best radio i'd heard in a while. It was like the most boring james bond movie ever.

Yeah, once he got backed in a corner, some of the shite he said was pretty frickin lame.

I don't know, maybe I feel this way because I really liked him already before this shite happened. I totally see where most people think this was all strategic, I just can't believe it since he already had a ridiculous business. He really had no Need to resort to gimmicks to drum up business.

Someone said something about him being n financial trouble on Finebaum the other day and Paul straight up said, I don't know where u are getting that but I have spent plenty of time with Danny and the last thing that comes to mind is that he is in financial trouble.

Not a flame, because you are a one of the good bama posters, but what did you like about him? Sheridan has always struck me as a scumbag, even prior to all of this Cam nonsense.

I don't see why everyone is making a big deal out of this. This is just like when the NCAA reached out to interview JLee about his Calloway assertions...

Why is everyone acting like DS is in big trouble because the NCAA wants to talk with him? They can't do anything to him. It's not like they can send him to jail or anything. They can't even make him talk with them. They couldn't ever get Reggie Bush in there, so what would DS have to fear. He can tell them the same BS that he told us, that he knows something but he can't tell who told him, because they would lose their job.
So it looks like it is just another waste of time.
I would think that the NCAA is investigating so many schools right now, and being so slow about it that they should leave this alone and finish up what they have on their plate right now.

Sounds like the NCAA doesn't know about the bagman. They must not have the same sources as DS.

Are you saying the NCAA is investigating BC's recruitment?

Not exactly. The implication here is that the NCAA wouldn't need to question him if his "information" was from where he said it was. Thus, it is not a big stretch to think this is the NCAA signalling that DS was full of shite.

I don't recall JLee claiming his info came from a source inside the NCAA.

Not mad, just laughing at you son. I have noticed more and more you atpb donkey's are using the "getting away with it" scenario in your posts.

You all laying the foundation to save face after 10+ months of failure?

Keep the faith follower, BTT has this in the bag. Death Penalty coming presser at 4.

Typical condescending self righteous comment from an internet Auburn fan. You assume that I'm an ATPBer because I dare to speculate and consider that something shady may have happened with Auburn's recruitment of Cam Newton. The "getting away with it" scenario has been many Auburn fans' excuse for all the supposed cheating Alabama has gotten away with over the years. Why do you have such a problem with it being thrown back in your faces for once? At least most Alabama fans acknowledge that Alabama is ultimately at fault when we do get caught cheating unlike Auburn fans who blame every bad thing that happens to Auburn on the REC.

This look familiar:

BTT or Bluetick,

Any opinions about the big SEC Rant thread regarding a tweet suggesting that the Yahoo story is about an SEC West team not named Arkansas or Ole Miss? The insinuation being that the subject of the Yahoo "10" story is either Auburn, LSU, or Alabama. The betting money is on it being Auburn but a lot of posters are speculating about it being one of those 3.

Is everything on schedule as far as where this thread is going and who we think the Yahoo story is about? Just the title of this entire thread being close to raging (the Plains burning) or something else? Is the "bombshell" the proof/evidence we've all been speculating about and waiting for? (i.e. proof of payment to CN)

I think the NCAA has no choice but to address the DS alligations. If Danny is telling the truth and he has a source in the NCAA who leaking info to a bookmaker, the NCAA looks bad. If Danny is lying and the NCAA does not stand up to him, then the policy of Universitys not ocommenting on ongoing investigations is out the door. The schools will demand the right to stand up to these issues. The NCAA can not remain silent with regards to Danny Sheridan.

The NCAA, in the midst of UM, tOSU, NC, and OU investigations, is willing to send an investigator to discuss things with him. Sure, it could be a search for a leak. But, Emmeret said himself yesterday,

quote:

"They will continue to look at anything they have available in any of these situations until they've reached a conclusion that there's nothing more to discover in any of these cases."

As Irons Puppet, the DS deal forced their hand..
