Well according to the SEC Rant, LSU's offense has no chance to improve and will be just as bad as it was last year, regardless of who we bring in, so I guess that means the answer is Davis.

I think Memphispie is just a bit sensitive. I'm not sure he knows how to act in a thread that wasn't flaming any fanbase.

You weren't flaming, but you obviously didn't do your research before starting such a shitastic thread.

Comparing losing a Star RB, to having a coach step down to health issues, but still remain on to do what we needed most and that was coach QB's is insane.

You will feel the effects much more as your other backs, though experienced do not give you the home run threat with an already weak oline and green QB.

Considering Kragthorpe will still be a major part of the team this year and Davis won't, I'll have to go with Davis

I guess one has to assume that Krags was actually going to improve the LSU offense.

He's still here as our QB coach, which has been our biggest deficiency over the last couple of years.

They haven't played a game, so who knows how it's going to work out. Davis = known commodity.

I'm not saying DJ is going to be even on the same level as Knile Davis, ftr I don't believe he will, but its not like he is not a known commodity either.

His stat lines in two games against LSU:

2008: 18 att 127 yards 7.1 avg 54 long 1 td
2009: 9 att 78 yards 8.7 avg 23 long 0 td

Yeah You don't knwo how hard you are gonna have it yet. it sucks losing your #1 RB, and don't pretend like Davis isn't far and away your best RB.
