LSU loses Kragthorpe who was apparently helping JJ quite a bit.

Coming from an LSU perspective Krags is the bigger loss. We would consider you losing Davis a technical gain. Ok just kidding I hope he comes back to play us in Death Valley. That way you will have no excuses.

Davis is the bigger loss. Couple that with Green's injury and Arky is getting thin at RB. You almost always get a RB dinged over the course of a season, losing two before it sure doesn't help.

The loss of these men flat out suck for both programs, but LSU will feel more of an impact than Arkansas.

It will change some things for both teams but being able to adapt to circumstances is part of the game.

I believe both teams will close ranks and stay on course.

I don't think Krag was all that good to begin with. That is just my opinion.

I think Knile Davis is a bigger loss.

On the other hand, Knile really didn't have a great Spring, and part of me was expecting him to drop off a little this year for some reason.

This time last year, we were all excited to see what Dennis Johnson could do at RB, and he got hurt the first game.

I am upset about Davis, but I am not thinking its the end of our season. We have others who can step up this year.

Until Knile broke out last season halfway through, I honestly thought Wingo was the better of the two.

Agree on this. DJ or Wingo are both capable of putting up some great numbers. The LSU ranters on here don't seem at all concerned about Kragthorpe stepping down. While he might not be in Petrino's class of calling plays, he was an upgrade from what they had, and they were making progress with the O. I have some LSU friends who are a bit more rational than the ranters, and they seem very concerned that Miles will now be running the Tiger O. They seem to think that he will run run run, and play to the level of the opposing team. However the Tiger ranters say everything is just splendid and LSU will be great...blahblahblah, etc. If Kragthorpe is really still able to be heavily invovled with helping the QB's and the O, they might be right. Considering how powerful Parkinson's is, I just don't see this being the case.
