Texas. I think they'll get back to their winning ways this year.

Texas wins 10.
Auburn wins 8... 9 if the chips fall right.

It will be close, but Texas has the easier schedule. I see them at 8-4 or 9-3. My best guess on AU is 7-5 or 8-4. So I will say Texas.

Texas.
I think UT is a 8-9 win team. I think AU is a 7-8 win team. Although, I wouldn't be surprised to see anywhere from 7-9 for either team.

texas won't be like last year's texas... only just because it felt like a fluke. they have O-line/rb issues.. but they still have a winning coach and loads of talent.
it's a new season. they just DERAILED last year.
so, Texas.

I'm going with a push. They will have about the same record at the seasons end.

Texas is probably the safer bet but Gilbert might be pretty awful again. I thought he looked pretty good in the BCS game and then the bottom fell out.
Is he even supposed to be the starter this year?

Texas schedule is FAR easier than AU's. They get ALL the tough ones at home other than aTm, who I think will take them to the woodshed again this year. AU however only gets Florida and Bama at home, they have USC, Ark, LSU, and what could be a good team in UGA all on the road, plus that second game of the season in Clemson is gonna be a payback match so that isnt gonna be a walk in the park. It is entirely possible that AU wont win a single game on the road this year, I think they pull out a win or 2, but those are all games that they should be leery of.

you know... after you boogs won a NC trophy, it really seems to have exorcised a lot of y'alls' demons. you have been shockingly real after all this.
that wouldn't have been the case before last year. kudos.

This. Consider this the calm before the storm.
