SEC Media Days May Be Better Than We Thought

I know folks do not really care for Finebaum. Today, I was listening in and heard this nugget and it kinda perked my ear and later saw someone on Facebook talking about the same link with a recording of it. He believes that the big story will be Chizik's convo with the NCAA lady BUT says that a story will be dropping in the next few days that will have everyone's tongue wagging. What says the SEC Rant? What could be coming down the pike? Below is the link. Fast forward to around 2:40.

Linking anything Finebaum should be ban worthy.

This is Finebaum's way of ensuring people stay tuned in to his show.

Yeah I'm tired of reporters pimping their stories like they're blockbuster movies. If you have something report it, if you don't keep your damn mouth shut and don't bug me until you do.

Little hints can build up the anticipation

It's the only foreplay Finebaum gets to participate in these days.

I swear i've heard this somewhere before. I can't put my finger on it, but this is some ridiculous deja vu. Damn I hate when this happens.

ya this is like that Time Cowherd had the name of the new Florida coach. Made up some BS Acronym and said he came from a "nice program". Made me listen to him way too long only to find out he didn't say anyone and it was wrong.

Just playing devil's advocate...why the hell would he need to do that? His market is pretty big and SEC Media Days start tomorrow...which means more listeners anyway.
I know people on here hate his guts but if Finebaum says there is a story brewing, that means there is a story brewing. Who it involves is another matter entirely.

I think the big story is going to be that AU is spotless and shiny, and the NCAA is sorry to both the university and head coach Gene Chizik for taking so long to address the matter.
Maybe they will send a cheese and wine basket or something.

He does it all the time. Not everyone is a regular listener, so he works on keeping the new people or casual followers coming back for more. He makes a lot of non-committal, often cryptic statements that make you think he is going to address a particular topic sometime later in the show and it never comes up again.

Yeah because Finebaum is really struggling with ratings, and needs to do whatever he can to get some people to listen
