Not saying you are wrong, but why would the CFO take over for the CEO? That's not like the #2 guy, that's like the head accountant.

That was a brain fart, he is the COO.

He has also been the acting CEO for some time now with Steve Job's medical problems.

if you mean living, LSU has about eighy thousand ceos, presidents and famous people. when you add in the dead guys, damn, it's a bountiful lot.
