Trent Richardson (Bama) 2010 - 700 yards & 6 TD's

Michael Dyer (Auburn) 2010 - 1,093 yards & 5 TD's

Isaiah Crowell (Georgia) 2010 - 1,900 yards & 25 TD's (Highschool)

Knile Davis (Arkansas) 2010 - 1,322 yards & 13 TD's

Alshon Jeffery (South Carolina) 2010 - Caught 88 passes for 1,517 yards

Aaron Murray (Georgia) 2010 - Completed 61.1 percent last year for 3,049 yards & 24 TD's

Marcus Lattimore (South Carolina) 2010 - 1,197 yards & 17 TD's

I was gonna put some defensive players in the list
but opted to keep it only offensive..
Sec got a stable of RB's in 2011..

Damn 181 days til kickoff..

P.S.-Frick it if Germans..

ok i am as much a homer as anyone but you can't put crowell on here. true freshman behind an average at best O Line who has idiot coaches that have a system where one running back does not get a majority of the carries

In order of most likely to win, I'd say:
- Lattimore
- Richardson
- Murray
- Dyer
- Davis
- Jeffrey

and I agree with DGD, Crowell shouldn't be up there

Take off Crowell, Dyer, and Murray. Crowell's a freshman, Dyer will not get as good blocking, and Murray will be good but not great IMO

relf isn't winning it.

also, crowell may be damn good but its just how our system works. he won't be getting a ton of carries, 20 would be the absolute max. shaky line, coach on thin ice, idk if he belongs on this list. hell richt still may not start him, although i think he basically promised him

I went with Lattimore because I think when it comes down to it he is Carolina's MVP, and Carolina is poised to do some big things this year. Your team has to be at least a conference contender if not a BCS team in order to win the heisman (so it seems)

Richardson because of the exact same reasons as Lattimore, only he actually has some very good backups to help carry the load which will be great for Bama but could hurt his Hesiman chances

Murray next because, well, if UGA does anything of note it will be purely because Murray got us there, and depending on how the first two games go, UGA could be a surprisingly legit team

Dyer and Davis are kind of tied. I don't expect Auburn to do anything spectacular next season, and if they do it will be a team effort, not just because of Dyer. Davis is kind of the same way, though I could see Arkansas being a legit team again

Jeffrey because receivers just don't win the heisman

Luck plays for Stanford, and unless he gets hurt he is going to win the 2011 Heisman Memorial Trophy. The media picked him to win it the second he announced he was coming back.
