Does he finish out the season or stay for the whole year if he drops the Boise and USCe games? FTR I think UGA wins the Boise game, but I'm not sure about Carolina.
thats what idk. admittedly our ath dept is from what i hear a little tense. its gotten looser after the dream team bs but i think if he drops both they don't say anything.
i really think you will know his fate post florida. if we lose those 2 and then maybe another one and then to florida I see espn making a big deal and having a richt watch and that wednesday or so i bet richt has a presser announcing he will step down at the end of the season. that way we have time to find a new HC and no need to scramble. if mcgarity is smart at all he has a plan for if richt fails or succeeds. of course if we beat UF but still flounder i see the same thing happening but after the GT game or the end of the reg season

You guys are probably in good hands under McGarity. He learned from the best.

can't argue with that. foley is a monster. he has done a good job but basically he came into just an awful situation. our athletic offices are disheveled, our old AD got caught with some bimbo's panties in his lap while drunk driving, our baseball program is nosediving into complete oblivion, our football program has deteriorated into a laughing stock, and our fricking mascots keep dying.
hell some fans are already mad at him. its tough for a new guy to can the coaches of 2/3 biggest sports but he's going to have to within the year. his old job is partly responsible too

man, i had forgotten about that
that was a helluva story... ranked right up there with the "roll tide" episode Price had with those strippers at Bama

hottest seat is richt
most likely to jump to another school might be mullen
most likely to retire is probably spurrier
I could see all of this.

The correct answer is saban

oh yea. happened right in the middle all our players doing there part for the fulmer cup. we had booted mett and another one of our top DE prospects and many others were getting arrested. we were finding a new Uga VIII, who has already passed, and we were recovering from what we thought at the time was the worse we could do.
when it rains apparently it pours in athens, ga

Spurrier could retire
Richt could get fired if UGA has another year like 2010
Nutt could get fired
Mullen could get hired away
IDK who the Vandy coach is right now but you never know

Not as long as his players continue the Vandy tradition of becoming academic All Americans, which they will.

you just love you some LSU don't you? you are like, obsessed. les miles isn't going anywhere; he'll retire from LSU. he just signed a big extension which will keep him 'till he's retirement age. i'll bet he stays longer than petrino.

Richt. I think the UGA defense will be better now that they have a true NT and boykins returned, but their offense will be terrible. Offensive line annually underachieves, best playmaker is a TE, and they pinning hopes on a FR RB who doesn't seem that special to me. I could also see a So. slump for Murray after the inury also.
Bo Bo is still inconsistent and their SEC schedule is too easy not to go 5-3, but you know they won't.
Spurrier will stick around a few more years. I think Saban would retire before the old ball sack.
Petrino or Mullen would be most likely to jump ship for better jobs. Those are really the only two coaches who are at programs that are beneath their coaching abilities.

thats whats so fricked up. and richt will never dump bobo. sometimes change is good for both parties. things have grown far to complacent in athens. clean house baby

What? I actually like LSU and Miles, just some of your arrogant fans I don't get along with, and it's a FACT that some of your fans grumble when he loses 2 games a year.
BTW as it pertains to contract extensions, Petrino just signed one himself, one that contains an $18 MILLION buyout over the next two years, and no lower than $6M over the next 7 years. The man is going NOWHERE for quite some time.

After the screw job he did in the pros. I'd say Arky was smart when they decide to make his buyout that much. Never know what Petrino might do.

Nutt, if he does not beat State!!!!!!!
Fla will go 7-5.........

There's never any guarantees regarding any coach, but we do love our new coach.

skipped reading most of this just for time constraint purposes.
The obvious answer is Richt, but its been the obvious answer for the last 2 years and guess who is still coaching at UGA. I think with the recruiting class he got though, if he cant get it done this year or next year he HAS to go.
I'm also with whoever asked how many years Les will put up with his fanbase calling him a loser. Either this year or next, probably next I think, either LSU will get tired of his shenanigans and part ways (I say this not having a clue what kind of buyout he has) or he will get tired of the bullshite and head to greener pastures.
Spurrier is getting old, and you can see it in his eyes. Garcia has single handedly knocked about 10 years off his life imo. I cant see him staying with it much longer.
Nutt is on a short leash too.
Other than that I think everybody else is pretty solid.
