As the whistle blows, Tide tourney hopes suffer a blow

"We were getting stops. We were getting out in transition," Grant said. "And then the whole pace of the game changed. You guys can maybe look at it down the stretch how many of those (fouls) changed the game."

Time to let it go man. It's been 24 hours. At least that little fricker Warren is gonna be gone next year. We were rid of Ogilvie from Vandy this season and Warren will be gone next season. No more guys who score 50% of their points from the line.

Bama is doing a whole lot better than last year. Be happy with that.

SEC refs have always been biased against Alabama. Everyone knows this.

Go back and watch the tapes. AU got their money's worth on the 75 fouls they committed against Bama Wednesday. Saturday, Bama's fouls were much more the picky touch fouls.
It goes to show you can call fouls on just about everything when it is said that basketball is a "non-contact" sport.

Maybe if Alabama didn't suck so much at scoring the ball at times (esp. late in the game) they would've won

They're(admittedly a small amount of them) are completely forgetting that Bama's offense was derailed by an easy Zone coverage that we pretty much never went away from.
That's right....read it again.....A team coached by Andy Kennedy completely controlled another teams offense.

The reason Bama had so many fouls was that when both teams were in the bonus with 13 min left in the second half, yea BOTH teams, Ak decided to let Warren drive a lot. Warren with his size is probably the quickest player in the league and it will draw a lot of hand checks and reaches. The refs weren't out to get you. It was good coaching. If you didn't notice when we got our 6th foul, we went manly to the zone to stop fouling.

2009: Some pundits predict Ole Miss football as first in the West. Result: garbage
2010: Some pundits predict Ole Miss b-ball as first in the West. Result: garbage
2011: Some pundits predict Ole Miss ????? as first in the West. Result to be: garbage.
What sport lies behind the question marks?
