The color crimson is most associated with blood outside of Alabama.

OK. I think they are probably wearing them to a football game to look cute, but I wouldn't expect you to understand that.

I also don't expect you to understand that this is not socially acceptable.

Denying Bama a perfect season/national championship probably would have replaced it.

I feel you. I was giddy when Bama was up 24-0 on Auburn. I thought it was gonna be a blow out Michigan State style.

I don't think I have ever experienced such a high followed by such a freaking low low in my entire life.

It is a taunt. Do I feel embarrassed? No, but that is clearly the intent.

It lasts all of 30 seconds. You'll be okay sweetheart.

It should be noted that it sounds better when sung by the Auburn fanbase though.

If I was a Tide fan, I'd only want them to do it for dominant wins, unless they were playing Tennessee or Auburn, in which case I would always want them to do it. Just my opinion, though. I don't have a problem with them doing it.

I'm glad they didn't do it to Mississippi State this past year. I wish they didn't do it to Georgia State, but it's not as big a deal because there were like 30,000 people left at the time they did it.

I don't think another school should tell us when to do a cheer or anything else. Do we tell Tenn. fans when to sing Rocky Top and believe me that annoys a lot of people. Did we tell Peyton Manning not to stand up and lead the band in Rocky top after beating us.

Settle down, it was just an opinion. It's not like I wrote a letter to your school or something. I just think it's a weird thing to do against Georgia State.

This is the most I've seen him post in one thread. Normally he does hit and runs

It was weird to do it to Georgia State, but they were expecting it, and our little kids in the stands would be disappointed if we didn't do it.
They really look forward to the chance to do Rammer Jammer. To be honest I don't like to do it at the basketball games. I mean the cheerleaders are right in the other team's face.
At least at the football game, they are a stadium length away.

I know this was a few pages back, but was really ironic. Since I'm an Ole Miss fan, you know what I'm talking about

And why is that? Is basketball not a sport worthy of cheers?

Not Alabama basketball or Auburn basketball. Maybe UAB could sign Rammer Jammer at their basketball games?
