I wasn't watching college baseball in the 80s. During my life, aluminium bats have always been part of college baseball. Just got used to hearing the "ping" of the bats when teams were practice while walking around campus. Since I enjoy college baseball, the two became synonymous.
Neither did I. But to completely ignore that they used wooden bats in college baseball more than aluminum by an extremely large margin is pretty ignorant.

How's the weather down there? I may have to sneak over to the game for 15 minutes just to see a pitch or two. How much are y'alls tickets usually?

Y'alls tickets aren't more than $30 a game are they? We're getting there at 3:30ish so I was going to try and watch the first few innings just to see the new bats etc...

On campus now...wind seems to be gusting pretty heavily towards what should be center field. Should be interesting

ETA: Damn double posting blackberry. Oh and to that LSU guy: I don't generally have to pay for baseball tickets so I have NO clue what they cost, especially at another school.

For all of those who might give a crap about Vandy baseball (they are predicted to finish 2nd in the East). Vandy heads out to San Diego for a three game series with Univ. of San Diego and a one game shot with San Diego State this weekend.

As big as Dudy Noble is the winds dont really make that big of a difference.
DNF is 330 in left, 375 in the gaps 390 in dead center and 326 in right.

Good deal. Hopefully I'll be able to watch for more than 2 innings. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
