I love how this rules violation is jst swept under the rug for Father Saban! Barry Sanders Jr. just admitted that Saban was talking to him while at his school....Coaches arent allowed to talk to juniors other than "hi" and "bye". Just the coaches. But hey, we will never hear anything from this issue...
What everyone above me said, plus it was a misquote. Saban told his coach those things about Ingram, and the coach told Jr. Saban just did a well perfected Saban bump on him.

"I was on my way to lunch, and we shook hands," Sanders said. "He asked me about my foot, and that was the only face-to-face conversation that took place."
Sanders and teammates Sterling Shepard and Markus Wakefield are in San Antonio this weekend for the U.S. Army National Combine.
Back in October, Sanders listed Alabama as one of his top-four choices among the schools that have offered him an athletic scholarship. Oklahoma State, UCLA and Florida State are in the running.
It was originally reported that Saban, during his brief conversation with Sanders, implied that running back Mark Ingram would not return to Alabama, which would make the encounter more than a “basic hello” — and NCAA violation.
However, Heritage Hall defensive coordiator Mark Adams said Friday that Saban was not talking to Sanders at the time, although Sanders said he was in the vicinity.
"Saban was talking to me at the time, and we were talking about the running back situation," Adams said. "Saban told me you can never have too many running backs.
“What sparked the conversation was we were talking about the last touchdown Alabama scored (in a 49-7 win against Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl) and how tough it is to still compete without trying to make the other team look bad.”
Nick Saban: No recruiting violation in visit with Barry Sanders

Regardless of what happened on the visit, this kid is unreal. He can be one of the best backs in the country if he wanted to. If he goes to any school, you would have to consider them a factor in their conference. At Alabama he could lead them to a national championship.

I'd love to see him come to Bama, but I've a feeling it's going to be tough to get him away from Okie St.

Of course it will be a tough pull, but you have to like that this will already be his second visit to Tuscaloosa, and he hasn't even made it to his senior year yet.

I'm hearing that Jameis Winston will be at Alabama this weekend along with Barry Sanders.
Hope he's there to help recruit.

The rumor is that there will be a huge in-state commitment this weekend. I'm going with Justin Shanks, but Jameis Winston and Kwon Alexander will be in town too. T.Y. Yeldon as well.

I think Kwon will wait for a while to announce.
Justin seems like a good guess.

Greyson Lambert is one of the top QBs in the South. He's from Georgia. 6'5" 200

I would be surprised if Bama settled for him this early with Shell and Marshall still on the market. BSJ is overrated IMO.

Glad I didn't have to say it.
He's a good player, but soo much hype comes from his name.
Like Stephen Rivers, except Sanders has actual talent...
