Good at football and baskethoops?

Maybe people will stop laughing off the SEC as a good basketball conference. Kentucky, Florida, Vanderbilt, and Alabama are all strong teams.

I'm sure Bama will win a Football and Basketball Championship in the same season soon.

Not until we win a championship in basketball. Can't say if we will ever get to that point, but we are certainly headed in the right direction.

No. Bama is going to be lucky to be a single digit seed in the NCAA's.

How about winning a couple of games in the NCAA's before you put bama in the same sentence with florida and Kentucky, which have actually won championships in hoops in recent memory.

Ok. You can say you are now equal to Vandy.
Vandy lost their first round game last season, albeit a close well played loss.
That's the future for Alabama. 11th or 12th seed, and a quick exit. The 11-6 winner plays the 3. say buy buy.

the 12-5 winner plays the 4. say buy buy.

You can quote me later if Bama makes it to the 2nd round.

I doubt it.

But you're LSU, you have no say in basketball whatsoever. You're a step above Arkansas.

It's not as if Alabama's never been good at basketball. They won a SEC title in 2002. Made it to the Elite Eight in 2003.

Wimp Sanderson days wasn't too bad. Plus traditionally we are 2nd with either tourney or regular season championships. I can't remember though. I THINK it is tourney.

LSU has more conference titles and a final four appearance in that time span

I think the point is we're going in the right direction in basketball. We still could easily miss the tourny this year but things are looking up.

And your point? LSU's basketball program is shite. Alabama is heading in the right direction.

At the moment, Bama is a decent enough team in the shitty half of a crappy conference. Not sure you can claim anything from that other than to compare yourself to So Car.

The SEC will not sniff a NC in basketball in the near future. KY is the only hope for this conference and they would be middle of the pack in the Big East. AL needs to hope they do not become the Florida of the West.

I thought it was funny.

At least the OP was confessed that he is drunk.

And sure: bye bye Bama. They wont last long.

THEY ARE 15-8, <= which stinks for the NCAA tournament
THEREFORE
If they lose in the first round of the SEC tournament,
they get to host an NIT game!!

Because winning back to back NC's is a terrible fate to have.

how many losses will Bama have after the SEC tournament?

9, 10, 11?

They will need to get hot and win the SEC tournament to get into the NCAA's.
