Don't see any reason why Antonio Richardson, Clear, and Arnett would make something like that up.

My point being.....who cares? If he changed his mind 5 mins. before he announced....so? It doesn't make him a bad kid.

Reminds me a lot of bammers after the Albert Means saga. Except there actually was proof and y'all still blamed everyone else.

Here is my issue. Every school's fans/message board moderators (including AUs) develop these self serving reasons/excuses for why they missed out on a big recruit they thought they had. These reasons are sometimes completely true, sometimes half truths and sometimes completely wrong.
I don't know whether to believe your report or not. I am just looking to read the info for myself and figure out the source where I can make my own judgment as to how much credibility I am willing to give the story. Whether I ultimately believe it or not will never change the fact of whether it happened or not, but I don't just blindly believe everything I read on a message board and am looking for more info.

It's not a post on a message board, it's an article from the guy who runs the site with a quote from Antonio Richardson saying he did this.
Hubbs doesn't rationalize, he's probably one of the more objective rivals mods out there. Despite his grammar defecencies.
It's not a knock on your team, coaches and players do things like this all the time.
Kiffin and Ed O are the masters of this tactic. Recruiting is a dirty business, you do what you can within the law to throw your competition off.
All in all, we probably deserved it.

Mods on every recruiting site come up with reasons/justifications that their predictions were wrong. I was trying to determine if that was the case here or if he reported actual quotes from recruits and the coaching staff. Now you have said he quoted one of the recruits. That is the info I was seeking.
