Anyone else burned out with recruiting?

I seriously hope every drama queen flips their commitments to other teams, all fan bases melt down and that they all turn out to be huge failures.
It's embarrassing that we, as adults, let ourselves get wrapped up in where these kids - who have never proven anything against equal competition - end up going to 'college'.
frick all of 'em...the dumb little pricks.

Yeah, I really got sucked in this year. I actually can't wait until tomorrow is over.

I am. But I've never been a big recruiting fan. I'll cheer for them when they enroll and start playing anyway...so I try to not worry about it.

Should we all pledge to ignore recruiting next year?

I'm not, I don't allow 17 yr olds to jerk me around with their games. I probably know of 8 kids that will sign with Auburn tomorrow.

First time I got sucked in to this level and I hate myself for it right now.

It's kind of fun. I followed it a little this year. Still can't get excited cause I know most of the recruits won't do anything in college.

I don't pay attention at all anymore. I'll check up to see how we did, but it's just such a waste of attention to follow all the commits and de-commits and the games that seventeen year old kids like to play. Come on people, we could be doing something productive!

Yep, it has become a joke! Football programs allow themselves to be highjacked by 17 year old kids that have not proved anything against equal talent. And too many grown men act like 13 year old girls stalking these kids so they can get a update ever five mintues on what they are thinking, or where they might go to school.

Not burned out at all. I will enjoy it regardless of what happens. It is College Football related and that is all I need.

I don't really follow it. ESPN seems to try to build the hype like its a super bowl. I turn the channel when the recruiting blitz comes on. I can't stand the mock nfl draft experts either.

Ok, fair enough 18 year old kids. When your my age they are all kids.
