When your team won a NC did you buy championship gear?

I ask because I find them ugly as sin and would much rather spend my money on a normal AU shirt or hat. Who has bought NC gear? Did you do it because you like it? Or you wanted to "brag"?

i did when the saints won, got myself a beanie.

I didn't buy anything. It was great but strangely enough I still think of the Florida game as the high water mark of that season. The NC game was great but I've only watched it live and then bits and pieces one other time, I've watched parts of the Florida game like 4 or 5 times.

I went to the game and got pneumonia. Pretty Sweet. I was a champ. I got hospitalized for 6 days.

Champion made an AWESOME shirt after OSU won so i bought one and still wear it (holes all over but it's one i'll never EVER throw out)

I only bought the program, Hardback copy of the sports illustrated, and the SI came with a Mini helmet( they accidently sent me two in 03
)
The rest of the stuff looks lame as hell and I would not buy.

The hats for instance, they are pre-made with everything but the logo of the winner. They don't fit a normal head correctly. Tall arse shite.

I thought I wanted a hat, because I saw one that I thought looked decent, but up close it was kind of crappy. Too tall.
I did buy a couple of the souvenir books, though.
