I think we will lose today. MSU is a pretty good football team however and I wouldn't call them a nobody. They are ranked above us in the polls and have had a great year.

I mean "nobody" in the same way auburn and oregon are also nobodies...not nationally prominent or highly regarded.

Yea, an 11-1 Michigan St team that beat Wisconsin is a complete nobody. I still think Bama wins it if they can find their offensive identity and their defense puts the last half of the Auburn game behind them (Auburn has done that to everyone...they SHOULD put it behind them).
I would actually say that FL is the most likely to lose today, but it has more to do with motivation than talent. Lame duck coach who lost his team before the season started versus a thousand year old coach who "may" be retiring and which the players love. Classic "win one for the gipper" versus "whatever, Boom Mother fricker will take over in a week which is great for all you defensive guys...but Weis will take over for the offense, so you 140 pound RBs might be left in the cold."

MSU is a fine team, BUT I believe there is extra motivation in this one for Saban. Not that MSU doesn't feel the same way about him bolting for LSU and all of the success he has had in the SEC.
I think his players will be ready for this one and they are well rested.
It looked like they wore down later in the year for whatever reason.
Richardson and Ingram will find running room today.
Saban will be blitzing the crap out of their QB and playing press coverage on those receivers. Look for a close game, but the edge goes to Bama.

Bama's passing game will be the difference today. I think we pull it out 27-21ish type score..

MSU does have to win without BJ Cunningham.

While Bama may lose, because ANYTHING is possible, the heavy hitters in the SEC (the western division teams) are starting to step to the plate and I expect a MUCH better showing than our eastern division counterparts have provided up unto this point.
Additionally, as most on this board with SEC ties know, Bama was the ONLY SEC-W team to lose a single game to an SEC-E foe the entire year (Bama lost to eventual SEC-E champ USC-E). Other than that lone loss the west rules the conference during the regular season and in the SECCG.
My prediction is that Bama shows up and plays with a chip on it's shoulder and gets the SEC-W's bowl teams started off in fine fashion!
SEC(W)SEC(W)SEC(W) - My new chant!

Bama should win pretty handily. They have tons more talent and Saban is supposed to be a better coach.
Would not surprise me if bama loses though. Just not sure saban is capable of getting the job done in a situation like this.

we dont pay him to win cap 1 bowls anyway

Kinda what I am saying. His teams have not handled adversity well at Bama. 2007 - tailspin, 2008 - Sugar Bowl embarrassment, 2010 - 3 losses and blowing the IB with a team more talented than any in the SEC.
Just not sure bama will show up.

I'll be pulling for Michigan State to win. Alabama is a lock.

You forgot that the Black Bears lost to Vandy by 2 TDs at home

You are the most predictable poster on the rant by far.

Looks like I was incorrect...gladly.
I didn't think Bama would be as motivated as they seem to be.
Sparty is a very solid team, but they're choking a little against the NCAA's flagship.
