1. Bama
2. Ole Miss
3. Vandy
4. UGA
Never been to LSU, Kentucky, or UF.
Part of UTK's campus looks like a MARTA station.

little history for you right there
Here is some history for you....
The names of University of Arkansas students, starting with the first senior class of 1876, are carved into one of the concrete walkways or sidewalks on campus. This tradition was started by the 1905 graduating class of students, who drew their names into the walkway in front of Old Main, the oldest building on campus. Following classes added their names for more than a decade and then the university took over responsibility for adding new classes, as well as adding the names of students who graduated prior to 1905. Through most of the 20th century, the names were impressed in wet cement using brass letters. As the campus grew, and the graduating classes got bigger, the operation became unduly time-consuming. In 1986, the university's physical plant developed a special machine called the "Senior Sand Hog" to engrave the thousands of names required each year.[44] School superstition states that it is bad luck to step on the Class of 1900; additionally it is said that if one steps on the name of the first graduating class, you will never graduate from the University of Arkansas.[citation needed]

Running through Highland Road and intertwining with Chimes and State Streets, sits buildings and stores that date back 80 years and some newer ones that developed many years later but are still thriving today. Highland Coffees, Chimes Restaurant, Varsity Theatre, Louis Cafe, and the Chimes Textbook Exchange are a few of the cemented establishments that are still going strong due to the areas historical perseverance.

College Row, the new shopping center at the North Gates of LSU, is up and running after months of construction. These fresh, vibrant colored buildings bring a sense of spunk to the area, and are definitely worthy of a second glance. But will these new stores overpopulate and ultimately water-down the quaint ambiance of the neighborhood?
The North Gates have a new roster
There's a lot going on outside LSU's North Gates:

Mike Moreno has plans for building a smart-growth, new-urbanist development on 30 acres near Magnolia Mound Plantation, tentatively dubbed River District.
This project and others along the boulevard are widely viewed as imperative to creating a thriving corridor along Nicholson Drive, establishing a vital link between two of Baton Rouge’s most important economic drivers—LSU and downtown.
Speculative development
So while Baton Rouge continues to get better, why not show us 'beautiful' downtown Gainesville.....
Just watch your step, the homeless people aren't too picky about where they take a dump.

That entire area near The Varsity and Louie's is painfully ugly.

You haven't been there in years.

If people are smart, they will invest in real estate between LSU and downtown.

The landscape is pretty at the U of A but the buildings are mostly old and ugly.

Very nice Hawgeye!
I'm very excited about the future for Louisiana and Baton Rouge. Louisiana was recently voted the #1 state in terms of job growth and business development, and Baton Rouge tied Seattle for #1 city in this area.
Louisiana Wins Business Facilities’ 2010 State of the Year Award
Best and Worst Cities for Jobs in 2011
Nashville was the only other SEC city or town mentioned.
