AU fans: How ugly will the offense be next season?

I'm not flaming. I am truly curious how you guys are seeing next season.
I am pretty sure that most of you are resigned to a rebuilding year on offense. . .happens to everyone.
New OL
New QB
Key WR losses.
But you DO have Dyer returning, which is something at least. Adams could return, although it would not help him much. . .he may do it for the school (ala K. Faulk at LSU)

We have enough talent that, with the Malzahn offense, we will be a top 2 or 3 offense in the SEC. We will lose 3-5 games most likely because we will take a small step back offensively and D will still be growing. Also, schedule is not as favorable as it was this year.

Adams will probably be back. It will hurt losing Fairley, but the rest of our defense should improve. Offense should be at least as good as it was last year. I foresee us going between 7-5 and 9-3.

Still much much better than the LSU offense

Not that aweful for two main reasons:
1. Gus returns. We were one of the top offensive teams in the SEC two years ago with Chris Todd at qb and learning a brand new offense.
2. Trotter will surprise a lot of people. He is a pretty good qb.
That said, I expect us to be a middle, maybe upper middle of the pack SEC team on offense next year. I would expect 4th or 5th ranked O when all is said and done, mainly because Gus is just that good at working with what he has.

But your prediction is a bit too bold.
Inexperience will be your issue next year.

Trotter is going to suprise a lot of people. Dyer and mccalebb are back. Blake, Adams, Benton, reed, carr, kitchens, lutz, and e smith will all be back. Aj greene will be back on the line along with Moseley. Sullen has shown he is capable of having to play if needed to, and will be fine next year. Dismukes will immediatly challenge for a spot as will Robinson. As long as malzahn is here, we will have a top 3 offense in the league.

Their OL is going to get their shite kicked in by LSU, Bama, and State's DLs. There is some major talent up front for those schools defensively.

He is no Cam Newton. Most 1st year SEC starters look like boiled poo poo

We have a VERY good D-line as well.
As far as the aubbie's in this thread go, you lose your entire OL along with arguably the best/most dominant player CFB has ever seen.
You're offense is going to take a beating, but Gus will soften the blow a little. JMO.

He's much better than chris todd. Has the ability to run and a very good arm. He has had 3 years to learn the offense too. I think he'll be fine

Comes down to our o-line of course. We do have talent there, just not much experience.
In 2007, we started 4 freshmen on the 0-line after the horrible start to the season. We went on to upset UF and may should have beaten LSU in BR. Those freshmen (this year's seniors) played well that year.
Just have to wait and see. Like I said, I expect 4th or 5th offense in the SEC. A significant dropoff, but still pretty decent.
