The trustee said UM inquired about Stanford's Jim Harbaugh, who wasn't interested, and said Jon Gruden never seemed serious about taking the job. Chris Peterson gave UM no indication he wanted to leave Boise State. UM thought Nebraska's Bo Pelini had some interest, but he changed his mind. And UM was turned off by Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen's big ego, with one trustee saying he acts like he invented the game.

In Miami's defense, that MSU coach has beaten one SEC west team in two full seasons of play.
Dan may be a good football coach, but he is most certainly an arrogant prick.

I'm telling you also, a good amount of UF players did not like playing for Mullen
I know a few players who played under him at UF and they despised the guy

Mullen is 7-9 in SEC play as MSU coach. Maybe great for your fan base, but this certainly doesn't make him legendary yet.

Did you watch it? He says at the beginning, "I hope everyone had a great summer..." and then he tells the freshman that they will go to 4 bowl games. This was about 8 months after they knew they were not getting Cam.

Apparently, Dan invented Florida's offense. Look what it's done since he left. Maybe the Miami guy that spelled Petersen's name incorrectly once again, was mistaken.

also MSU did not beat a team this season that is currently ranked in the Top 25

I'll give you that first part, but I really think being Tim Tebow's OC makes this guy think he's invincible.
It's storta like Gus Malzhan. Gus, we all know you're a gread coordinator, but it REALLY helps to have a guy like Cam Newton running the offense.
