If he is willing to pass up an exorbitant amount of money at Vanderbilt to remain an OC at Auburn, he must have a certain job in mind. Which job is it?
I'm going with UGA

Something with a more proven route to better jobs? How many coaches have left Vandy and moved on to a bigger program?

Probably any of them except Vandy.

Poor Vandy. I submitted my application to your AD FTR. Oh wait. You don't have one.

I know Vandy has dismantled a lot of coaches resumes in the past. I guess he thought it would happen to him. But I'm still surprised that he was willing to pass up so much money. His wife must be pretty pissed

He's not waiting on a specific job, just one that he feels comfortable with, and thinks he can succeed at.

He won't succeed at his current job next year!

He wants one where he can recruit at. Even though Vandy offered alot of $$ in salary, they're not committed to building the facilities that are required to compete in the SEC. That's where the real $$ talks and Vandy isn't going to spend it on athletics.

Make sure you bring yourself and your buddy back to this board after Drake Nevis,Kelvin Sheppard, and Tyrann Mathieu send Cameltoe Newton to the locker room crying.

The guy has succeeded everywhere he's been at. Shut the frick up and go back to lurking. You suck at posting and predictions.

Way too much is made about money for head coaches. Coaches want to win alot more than they want another 800K a year...and if they win, the money will take care of itself

If Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, and Stanford can recruit.....I believe Vanderbilt could too.
The boosters have made it clear that they want a winning program, at any cost. Yeah the stadium will never be one of the top in the SEC but that doesn't mean they cant compete.

Vandy would not allow him to pay so he had to wait for a team that has the pockets to get the Cam's

He'd tear shite up at WVU.

Now that the WVU job is open...maybe he pulls the trigger on that one. I think he stays at Auburn another year unless something drastic happens...who knows...Georgia, Mich (If Rich Rod isn't canned), Illinois, Penn St and /or UCLA could all be looking for coaches next year. Nothing is certain for sure, but those are some prime time openings

He is getting paid 1.3 million to do half the work at Auburn, I don't think he will be jumping into any HC positions that aren't a perfect fit.
