Is it because of Cam?
Is it because of the sarcasm of the fanbase?

I personally just never did like Auburn after Tubby pulled out the cigars in tiger stadium after they whupped up on us. I thought it was low class. I will say this i think they have a great football team with Cam at QB. Without Cam the team and the coaches would be mediocre. Go cocks.

So he moral of the story is: "Take out Cam Newton", and you'll win.

Someone had the following quote as their sig on another board and I think it sums it up perfectly.

Auburn fans have all the arrogance and pompousness of Notre Dame but with all the prestige and tradition of Clemson.

Really?

Umm...because they field a QB who at 20 yrs old had active agent representation asking schools to pay 180,000 for his commitment to play.

...and the NCAA knows...

...and they decided to just let it go...

Yeah...that might be why.

The situation smells bad! Cam is a great player, no doubt. Auburn has a great team. Seems you may win it all with pay for play tactics. I still want AU to win and hope that there really were no infractions and it's proven too. But see OJ story. That's my reasons. Not sure most nonAU fans will ever believe money wasn't exchanged.

Because they cheated

But what most forget is Auburn has to cheat. They can't help themselves. We should cut them some slack. It has to be hard to always be second fiddle no matter what you do. Take this year, for instance. AU wins a NC and ESPN will still be covering Alabama's spring practice and game, not Auburn's. So Auburn, knowing they are considered to be inferior to Alabama, is naturally led to cheat to compensate.

This is a very easy question.

It's a lack of fairness and values (integrity) on the part of the school and some of the fans.

In my life if someone commits a crime or a rule infraction they deserve what they get. I don't and won't try to insulate them from consequences nor make excuses for them (not mother, father, sister, brother, son, daughter, nor my favorite football team or school).

Fairness and justice must be instilled into you when your a child as a core personal value.

These core values seem to be devoid from Auburn and some of the Auburn fan base.

Sorry, "The Nino". I was not answering a question you posed.

Just, "Why has most fanbases turned on Auburn?"

This is a large part of it. Were AU to lose today and not get to the NCG, probably 90% of the hate would go away and people will care infinitely less about AU and Cam. AU is on top and there is blood in the water. Time to feed. It is just the way it works.

They are the lying, cheating BULLIES of college football. I could site all the cigar smoking, knee crushing, pay-for-play reasons you could stand to read, but I am sick of AU and do not want waste my time typing.
