Indictments have already come down and they don't have anything to do with AU, Cecil or Cam.

The indictments have NOTHING to do with Camgate. Those are still to come.

I just received a call from someone who is connected with many doctors in the Alabama Tennessee area, several who are prestigious AU alums. The word in these circles that many are talking about confirms that the wire taps for the bank investigation uncovered ties to a package offered to obtain Cam at AU and other recruitment issues. My source claims that the institution AU is indeed involved in the knowledge of the package. The word going around these circles is that indictments will be handed down probably after Thankgiving holiday and that rthis will be a severe blow to AU. Take this FWIW....

FWIW the greatest disclaimer of the blog world. OK why not whats another my brothers, girlfriends, mother who dates this Dr's nephew, found out from a friend in the know that people told his people rumor on SECR?

Cue my favorite Aubies to explain the semantics of the phrase "building a case" to all of us...

Because a subset of the ignorant Bama fan species decided that Auburn fans are "booger eaters" and they shortened that to "boogs" to make it even more...."hilarious"....

Because boogs bury their wormy fingers up to their knuckles in their nose digging for nose candy.

There is no semantics. Colonial bank ceased to exist long before Cam was being recruited. It is a fun rumor though. I am sure all of the people leaking info about the FBI investigations don't care about the breaking federal laws either.

All I can add is that these are career men in their 50s and 60s, alumns and boosters tied to AU who are talking amongst each other. They are not internet hacks.

Boogs is a top five dumb arse nickname. But I don't know why Auburn fans seem to think Bammer is so offensive to us either.

I also call B.S. That's not how it works. The FBI will turn over evidence to the U.S. Attorney in Ala. or the Justice Dept. in Wash for their consideration of taking it to a Grand Jury. The GJ would indict, but that would be way-y-y down the line.

building a case"

I will try to use terms maybe easier for you to comprehend. When someone decides to build a building they don't just go buy materials and head over to the jobsite and start building. OK you still with me.....here we go. They must first Do some fact finding like soil samples, elevations, codes, what type of materials, etc all known as facts. (Must get the facts right)...You still there genius? Than they take all those facts and build a design ( Build the case) that is solid and will stand up to time, elements, etc.

Hope that helped ya if not so sorry enjoy the rest of 2010 college football I know I will.

So explain to me how a person can get into trouble by releasing information that the FBI doesn't have.

I think, in addition to the gambling legislation bribe case, there is an ongoing investigation into the collapse of Colonial Bank.
