Had torsion in my early 40's. My GP misdiagnosed it and I didn't see a urologist until the next day. It was too late. Recovery from surgery is not fun.

Morning all. Been awake since 4 for no specific reason. Old age will do that to ya.

Good morning everyone.
re: Why does TM7 not return punts for the Chiefs?
Posted by SlipperyPete on 2/2/20 at 6:47 pm
You do realize that TM7 has already been through two knee surgeries in the NFL? You do realize that he hasn't returned a punt since he was at LSU? Maybe you don't realize that. Hence, the dumbass question.

diagnosis was multi-focal bilateral pneumonia, meaning multiple "spots" in both lungs. From what I've read, it started out as an infection that spread to his lungs. Very sad to hear. Way too young. Was engaged to be married next summer.
Not a doctor, but it can take several days to culture the bacteria to identify the particular strain of bacteria so that the right antibiotics can be used to treat it. Until cultured, doctors will use broad-based antibiotics that treat most common forms of pneumonia. My guess is it had spread too far once the bacteria was identified for the right antibiotics to be effective. Pneumonia is dangerous stuff.

Doesn’t TAF have the means to pitch in if they really want someone?
Yes, but at some point, do you want to spend all your money on coaches or do you want to compete with facilities (e.g. the new locker room)? You've got to think long-term. Aranda was never going to be a career DC here. At some point, he was going to leave. Attrition happens all the time in the coaching ranks. Unfortunately, the timing here isn't good.

$2.5M. Throw in a $1M-$1.5M raise for Brady. O will likely get a hefty raise after the season. No way we pay a DC $3M. We don't have unlimited funds like aTm and Texas.

True. LSU doesn't do 28-play drives.
LSU Offense - Kirby Smart post-game Q&A

Q. Kirby, what's the biggest thing about LSU's offense that just kind of took the SEC by storm this year? Is it the quarterback, the play calling, the running back, combination of all of it? What can you put your finger on?
KIRBY SMART: That's a great question. First of all, I've been in this league for a long time, and I don't know that I've seen the combination of things they've got. They've got an elite quarterback that's a really good athlete. They have a back that is a matchup guy. He can match up on anybody and go in. They've got really good wideouts, and they've got an experienced offensive line. So they go tempo, but they don't go tempo to just run the ball, they go tempo and take shots. They never change personnel. It's like 28 consecutive snaps with the same people on the field. So it does not allow you to substitute in the pattern that you want to.
So there's a combination of a lot of things, and it is scheme oriented, but it's a lot more than scheme. They have plays that they've run all year, that we've run all year. Our plays haven't looked like their plays because a lot of times we might not have the same guys doing those plays.
They've got a great group of wideouts combined with an extremely athletic quarterback, and it hit at the right time. I've got a lot of respect for what they're doing and who they're doing it with. They're hard to defend.

tOSU has large alumni base out west. They go to the desert especially if Utah gets in. Clemson and LSU fans can both drive to Atlanta. Ticket sales matter.

You need to go back and listen again to the segment. Fans get 1 vote (collectively) among 800+ media members who get to vote and all former Heisman winners that are still living (50-something).

No one in their right minds thinks Mond makes this close by passing.
The only success A&M had against UGA was Mond passing the ball. As a team, A&M had -1 yards rushing against UGA. So I think your assertion is wrong. If we don't get a push rush against Mond, he will have some success throwing the ball against us.
