MacGregor has known about the tapes for a while, he was indicted in Oct. As part of discovery the prosecution has to give all its evidence over to the defense. Also the attorney who made this statement is a MASSIVE Bama fan and supporter, Espy. Trust me if they said it they are in the clear on this. Also as said the timelines do not match up but people seem to forget this little fact.

As far as Auburn, the attorneys and the NCAA Cam is eligible, this is as of last Thursday when they all had a nice sit down and talk with the NCAA.

I agree this story has been covered very poorly;
1. 2 former MSU players have talks with 2 MSU "recruiters" who Mullen has stated only coaches are recruiters at MSU, in a pay for play. THe funny thing is no one has mentioned the hot water MSU is in over this.
2. On multiple occasions Rogers and Bonds have said this had nothing to do with Auburn University, the other simply said he didn't know anything of Auburn's recruitment of Cam.

Yet with no connection between Auburn and Cam in a pay for play we have elaborate theories on how Auburn somehow is paying players in a method that if true would make James Bond's head spin.

Riiiight.

All of a sudden we know what's in the wiretaps regarding MacGregor?

But, we still haven't heard if Cam Newton is eligible or not? Auburn is saying "no comment," but suddenly we're hearing whether or not MacGregor was taped talking about Newton?

Seriously, guys. Think. The media in Alabama is bought and paid for. "Multiple sources"? Really? Then get those multiple sources to tell us what's really going on and stop with the propaganda.

This story has been covered as poorly as any major story I've ever seen. But, suddenly they know what's on the wiretaps and whether MacGregor is involved. Remember, MacGregor was buying judges and politicians. I don't believe a word of this until I know WHO the sources are and what they tie-in is.

Nonfactual. Auburn has only said that he would play today.(That Saturday). They, nor the NCAA made any statements and Au has only repeated no comment since then.

Possibly because it doesn't exist?

Ummm, no they didn't. The NCAA is investigating the recruitment of your starting QB.

Too broad of a statement. Work product and other items are not discoverable. The whole of the transcript may not be unsealed.

That's impossible. The REC and all Alabama fans are solely responsible for this entire situation. No way an evil Bammer could ever tell the truth or defend such a righteous Auburn man. How does he even find the time to defend his client when he spends all his time controlling various American instutions in order to frame Auburn?

Yeah. NONE of you Auburn homers beat that dead horse.

By the way, Finebaum jokes about State being in hot water quite often. Probably just to keep the Auburn homers listening to his show. He also wears his Cam Newton jersey to work every day.
