Until they play Bama.
Bama is the better team.

Not sure about Bama being better, but the Iron Bowl this year is shaping up to be a great one.

Bama has more overall talent, but the Gus Bus is rolling and Newton is playing out of his mind. I'll still take Bama because the game is in Tuscaloosa, but I wouldn't be shocked by an AU win.

I agree, Bama probably is the better team. Should be a great game this year, which is all I can ask for.

Bama is the better team overall. I just hope Auburn can hit em hot.

Maybe from top to bottom.
But my gosh, I don't know how they can stop Auburn's offense.

Well, they have a good front 4 and also a very good secondary so it will be tough to be super productive against them.

I still don't know how good we are. Were not a great team but neither is Auburn (I don't think you can be a great team with a suspect defense, who was the last National Champion with a defense as iffy as Auburn's?)But the home field advantage should be enough for us in the Iron Bowl. I wouldn't be surprised at all by us losing to LSU and beating Auburn.

Bama is too 1-dimensional. Their QB only hands off or passes. This isn't yesteryear's SEC.

One of the fan bases will meltdown this year. Neither fan base can take a loss in the Iron bowl this year.

This is a solid post.

Should be fun for all of us to watch, then.

That's news to most Alabama fans FWIW I think most of us are just spoiled, we're up at the top in the country in interceptions, but its not nearly as good as last years. Again, were spoiled, our three main corners were all drafted last year, that's not normal.

It's hard to do much else.

Well, Bama's secondary might not be close to last year's but they are scrappy as hell and won't give Auburn the cushion that other teams have.

I'm sure Nick Saban will have nothing planned at all before November 26th...
Alabama's offense will improve before the Iron Bowl, but the game will be won/lost by TOP, turnovers, and special teams. It will look like the LSU game.
If Bama loses to LSU, it's time to put in McCaron. Someone who can throw downfield against teams that don't suck dicks. It's their only chance. But I'm sure Greg stays where he is, and we arrive at Glendale upon Greg's great screen/slant passes.
The most concerning thing right now as that they still aren't getting pressure on QBs -- not even on Tennessee's weak offensive line, and Auburn's OL is better than Bama's right now. You could throw a washing machine through AU's O line, and you couldn't squeeze that fig from Twilight through Bama's.

Nah, this what yall are going to try to do.
First, pray we don't get the ball first.
2nd, "establish the run." Not gunna werk cuz Auburn actually plays the run very well.
3rd, "stop Cam from running." Nick will blitz the house on nearly every play and Cam will rush for about 200 easy off QB draws.
We almost derailed your perfect year of perfectness with a noodle armed QB who can't run. This year, just sit back and accept what we're putting together. You'll sleep better not worrying about how to stop Cam cuz you're not.

Probably not stopping Cammie, but Alabama's not looking ahead to UF this year. Auburn is THAT team this year.
