WHY is it that after every Cam performance we have to hear

how pathetic the defense was?...I thought arkie's d was gonna shut him down?....Now they suck. Why is it so hard to believe that he is a bad arse?....sure...hes no chris todd..but nobody is or will be..

Arkansas defense is #33 in the Nation... South Carolina and Mississippi State is worse

Nobody will shut the dude down, he is a bad arse. Clemson and State have contained him though, and also caused him to turn the ball over a few times.

arky's defense? Half my family live sin Little Rock. Not one of them will tell you they have even a "decent" defense.

Because Cam performs well in EVERY game...and our D is epicly AWFUL in EVERY game. It doesn't leave much opportunity for a break hearing about either.

Newton's awesome.
For the record, 35 of the points scored by Auburn can't really be blamed on our defense.
Our special teams gave up 14 pts (blocked punt deep in Arkansas territory, and 99 kickoff return allowed)
Our offense gave up 14 pts (fumble returned for TD, interception returned to our 7 yard line)
Another 7 pts came from the controversial goal line play. I personally think that our defense forced the fumble and we recovered it, but I'm not going to harp on it.
So that's 35 pts that the defense couldn't do much about. At best, they could have forced some field goals, but that's tough to do on the road with a short field when the other team has momentum.
I think Auburn's average starting field position was their 45 yard line.
With that said, Auburn's offense is very good with Newton at QB. They would have scored a lot of points even if our special teams play had been exceptional. The fact of the matter is that Newton is very hard to stop.

Cam is as close to impossible to stop as any QB i've ever seen.
The thing people are forgetting when bringing up the MSU game is that was his second start in division 1 football ever....
He's gotten better every week. The same Cam that Clemson and MSU faced doesn't exist anymore and he was pretty good anyway.

Why do Auburn fans carry around such a massive inferiority complex even when their team is doing exceedingly well?
