What`s the deal with the hoopla surrounding him taking off his helmet. Dan Patrick, SportsBybrooks, and a few espn pundits have been bashing SEC refs. Saying they are the worst refs in the nation etc. My thing is, the game was over, and him taking off his helmet didn`t affect the play or create an unsafe situation. T. Cody did it last year against UT as well. The media sounds like a bunch of Pac 10 queers. Why would you ever want to get a win like that? I`m sure UT would take it, but I don`t think ticky tacky dress-code calls/non-violent personal fouls should be called in game changing moments. Its like calling pass interference at the end of a close game. You better damn well be sure it was interference and it was catch able. I think it was the pac 10 where Jake Locker costs his team the game because he threw the ball in the air...

T-Bob`s the shite. I don`t know why they keep bringing him up while bashing the SEC.

The irony that the national media is saying the refs are bad, helping for an Lsu win is kinda funny after the last couple of yrs of Lsu fans whining about bad officiating.

He cheated. He played against Cody too much and he learned his dirty cheating tactics. I'm glad Kiffin isn't still coaching the Vols or you'd be in a full scandal.

Tennessee players ran onto the field before the play was blown dead. They didn't have their helmets on either.

I cannot believe this is even an issue. Watch Tennessee players, they took their helmets off too.

I honestly believe people should just watch that 30 seconds of the game for the beauty. It was like a blazing train wreck. Don't worry about penalties, etc. That play was so bad that both coaches should have been fired, which goes far beyond a little yellow flag. It was one of the most entertaining plays ever and even in Houston it's almost all they're talking about this week on the radio. I can't turn on the radio without hearing a Les Miles joke... and he won the game.

It was truly a meeting of stupidity and incompetence...and you don't get to see that every day.

No, it wasn't. Technically, because of the penalty for illegal substitution, the game was not over. If anything, they should have called off-setting penalties. It wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game IMO, LSU still would have had an untimed play, but it would have been the correct call.

Good Call. And yeah the last 30 seconds was awesome for me. T-Bobs face is priceless after they lose and again when they get another chance n punch it in. The game might be remembered as a turning point in the season if they fall apart. I bet the video of t-bob gets played 1000x if lsu collapses.

Within ONE second of that a UT dback was doing CARTWHEELS down the middle of the field and the entire UT coaching staff was ten yards out on the field.

It's just DUMB the stuff the talking heads tell each other.

I wonder if they are even aware that stuff actually happes OFF camera.

LSU will probably be a stronger team going forward since there has been a QB change.

On an interesting sidenote, four members of Saturday’s crew were among those suspended by the league last season.

STFU, like we are the only fans that complain about officiating. Don't start this crap acting like it is just us. Now go back in your glass house and drink tea with Little Nicky.
