If, hypothetically, Alabama were to have back to back undefeated seasons in such a great conference on the backs of Ingram/Richardson, they would have to at least be in the discussion for greatest duo. I'm not saying they are the best, but it is not retarded to entertain the thought.

Ingram had 303 touches, 1992 yards (6.6 ypt), and 20 TDs
Gerhart had 354 touches, 2028 yards (5.7 ypt), and 27 TDs

and Ingram had 3 receiving TDs. AND he faced better teams. No, Gerhart was not better.

Those Pac Ten defenses must have been such a challenge to Toby.

I did a post on Alabama's scout board (that got me banned incidentally) that compared the run defenses that Ingram and Gerhart went up against.
Gerhart actually faced the tougher run defenses.

How many quality RBs were in the Pac 10 last year? I can think of 1 besides TG, and thats Jahvid Best.

I'll say this:
Ingram faced better competition.
Toby didn't.
They loaded up the box against Toby.
They didn't against Ingram due to play makers outside. And no i do not mean Julio. I kid, i kid.
Ingram also won the NC.
Toby didn't..
We don't really know who is better or who did better.. IMO.

2) bama is playing for some mythical all time championship this year and they are capable of it.
What's so "mythical" about winning the Championship Game? Since when has the BCS labeled the Championship Bowl Game a Mythical Bowl game?
So last year, Bama and UTex played in the Rose Bowl Mythical National Championship Game?

I am pretty sure plenty of defenses stacked the box against us last year.
and Andrew Luck is a very good QB, so I doubt teams stacked the box against Stanford the whole time.

How the hell can anyone say they are better than Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders (The greatest college football player ever)?
If you want to say they are 2nd best, ok.
But, not even close to Sanders/Thomas.
