the auburn/clemson contest was, by far, the hardest most physical game that i have seen in 10 years. it was old school football at it's finest.

I made a post on the More Sport Boards about this game. Don't know if I would say most physical game in last ten years (LSU/Auburn game about 6-8 years ago was one of the most physical games I have ever seen), but this game was a fantastic game all around. Will be interesting to see how both teams rebound with quality opponents in their next games (Auburn v. USC and clemson v. Miami). Clemson's qb will need the open week to get healthy again, especially after that lick in the back he took in the 3rd quarter.

And I really like watching the Clemson QB sling that ball around. That kid has a gun! It's a shame that he is a soph., but that this will be his last year of college football b/c he has signed to play professional baseball after this season. But for his height, that kid would have the potential to be an NFL QB by the time his senior season would come around.

It was a very hard hitting game. One of the hardest hitting I have ever seen. I still have to give the 1995 Orange Bowl between Nebraska and Miami the edge though for the most physical game I have ever seen.

Auburn/LSU has been, consistently, the hardest hitting game for the last decade or so - you have to have your chinstrap buckled up tight when you step on the field.

But last night the hits were insane...two possible broken legs, a KO with potential concussion, a QB puking his guts out on the sidelines after a hit, 6 or 7 players limping off...

At one point I thought Dr. Andrews was going to have to open a clinic in the endzone. I swear I think I saw him get a copy of a guys insurance card last night.

tOSU vs Miami 2002 was a very physical game. Ohio State was sending Miami players to the sidelines all night. Probably the most physical game of any national championship.

Congrats to Auburn,

Great game, Great come back, I thought the Clemson QB was going to cry there for a while. Both teams looked good and played hard. Great game to watch. Hats off to both teams.....

That game was just brutal last night. I liked when Brent Muffburger said "this game isn't for sissy's". I don't know who Auburn plays next week, but hopefully it's someone the backups can beat because the starters will be in the whirlpool!!

Pat Forde wrote about UF -LSU 07 said it was the hardest hitting game he ever saw...I remember the predator (tyson jackson) saying it wasn't about first downs and scores anymore ...it was about "your manhood out there"

I felt so bad for the Clemson QB last night - that was the gutsiest QB play I have even seen in College Football.

last night was brutal on the hits.

Great ballplayer went to HS about 15 min from my house Tim Tebow got all the hype ( HS are 15 min apart) while Kyle Parker was in HS in Jacksonville area. Had a newspaper article about the two and said that KP was probably the best athele coming out of the county.
