Word coming out of scrimmage is that he knocked Mark Ingram unconscious. They were about to bring the cart out when he got up and walked off under his own power.

Barron already has 4 hands and the ability to intercept emails with his mind, but now he can KO Heisman winners with "thud" tackling?

I like it. If he has the fire to knock out his own teammate, just think what he'll do to opponents. Just saying...

Mark Barron might end up being the best future NFL player on our whole team.

Mark Barron was one of the most unnoticed players on Bama's team last year, and he was my favorite. He was UNDOUBTEDLY the 2nd best player on last year's Defense. If it wasn't for McClain's leadership, I would have Barron ranked above McClain based on talent.

Completely false, McClain, Javy, and Kareem were easily top 3. Barron was great, don't get me wrong, but he was not the 2nd best.

Barron will be head and shoulders above what Javy and Kareem were last year, this year IMO.

From what I saw, Barron was the 2nd best defensive player on Bama's team last year. That's my opinion, you're certainly entitled to your own however.

Lot's of people forget this kid was the #1 ranked WLB in the nation coming out of HS. A head hunter. Five star talent, above average size and speed for safety plus excellent coaching. The sky is the limit for Mark.

Hard to compare CB to S. But it's safe to say that he will be our best safety in a long time.

It hasn't been that long. Rashad johnson was awesome, but I will agree that he is not on barron's level.

You left out the part where he delivered a baby on the sideline after knocking out the Heisman Trophy winner.

His legend grows.

I also heard Tebow was there and he circumsized the kid after Mark delivered it.
