you end up with this?

Boise State 12-0 {Va Tech, Oregon St.}
TCU 12-0 {Oregon St., Utah, BYU}
Ohio State 12-0 {Miami, Wisc., Penn St., Iowa}
SEC Champ 12-1

(I credit DocBugbear for originally posting the scenario, but I wanted to see the other Rant's take on it)

What if Auburn won the SEC? Wouldn't you hate to see Auburn get snubbed out of national championship game?

Bama and Boise.

They will take the SEC school because it will work out in the final BCS rankings.

Boise will get there because their AP and Coaches ranking - the sportswritwers will make sure Boise gets their "shot" at the big boys.

No one wants to see another BIG 10 school run around the field in lead shoes vs. the SEC and get smoked up like fine arse weed.

I think they will still give the nod to an SEC team because of the SEC's track record in the BCSNCG. I would LMAO if they played the 1-loss SEC Champ v Boise.

Couldn't agree more. I'm no ACC fan by any means but for some reason I just can't get with the Boise bandwagon (even though the SOL play against OK was badass)...

Auburn isn't going to win the SEC this year.

Another SEC team getting screwed would put another fanbase on the side of Auburn fans against the BCS. Fans of the other 11 SEC schools don't care and some even laugh at Auburn, but that would change, if it happened to them.

I would say the SEC Champ vs. Ohio State...even with 1 loss I believe the SEC champ would still jump over Boise and be No. 2. Of course this would start another anti-BCS outcry for leaving Boise out.

The AP wouldn't help Boise get in...the AP has absolutely no part in the BCS formula. And the Coaches would put a 1 loss SEC team in over Boise because they realize that the strenght of the schedule is tipped trememdously in favor of the SEC.

Just .02

Btw...

I think if its Bama or Florida they are definitely in. The others would really have to climb the ladder in the rankings while Bama and Florida will not drop too far after a loss.

Auburn's sights are never on a BCSNC. They only aspire to beat Bama.

It will depend on the SEC championship game. Who is in, how many losses will the loser have and their rank at time of game.

Also if it's Bama vs Fla that will be the second time they play each other. Not sure, but this could make a difference, when you have 3 undefeated teams fighting for spots.

Wow! You pulled that one right out of your flaming butt didnt you. God forbid a fan of a team actually use logic when making a prediction. We understand that Bammers can never take off the crimson colored glasses but some people can actually make judgements based on looking at something for what it is...this guy simply replied to someone asking what if Auburn won the SECCG...he predicted this is not going to be the year for Auburn to do so...then you pull this crap straight out of your butt, when Bama is not even being mentioned in that conversation...you are pathetic.
