and physical marvel, but does that warrant a 1st Team All SEC selection? Besides, Maze is more of a playmaker.

Maybe the coaches aren't putting too much stock into his 1 down year like some here do?

I think it speaks volumes about how SEC coaches really feel about McElroy that they put a WR who had less than 600 yards last year on the All-SEC first team.

He was good as a freshman, really dropped since. Hope he is finally healthy.

Only because there were no other viable choices. Who the hell else could they have selected? A first year QB that hasn't taken a snap or seen very limited action like Brantley, Murray or Newton? Stephen Garcia? Jordan Jefferson? He made second team All-SEC by default.

The coaches should have been blown away by Jeffrey then, better stats with (somehow) a worse QB than McElroy.

South Carolina threw the ball almost 100 times more than Alabama despite playing in one less game. It's not that difficult to compile statistics when your team is throwing the ball all over the place.

Dude, you have proven time and time again that you don't know shite about football, why do you continue to make yourself look like a dumbfrick? I don't get it.

Jeffrey only played in 7 games, and his stats kick Julio's stats arse. He got picked on name and high school hype alone.

Wg dawg-not to mention his awesome freshman year and his clutch performances last year in big games. Bottom line is that SEC coaches opinions far outweigh your's.

As awesome as Julio's freshman year, I think his numbers were caused by John Parker Wilson being at QB. Wilson had a strong tendency of staring down his receivers which led him to force feeding his #1 target constantly. That's how DJ Hall was able to compile those great numbers during his last two years.

Blah blah blah, you always have an excuse. Julio had an awesome freshman year, why is it so hard for you to give credit where credit is due?

You have a pretty funny routine on here man. Taking the delusional angle is good entertainment.

Julio had a brilliant freshman year. I'm just saying his numbers were inflated somewhat by Wilson's tendency to go to his #1 WR a lot. I mean, if the dropoff in Julio's production wasn't due to Wilson forcefeeding him the ball or McElroy's overall ineptness, what caused the dropoff? It couldn't have been all injuries because he played with a broken bone in his wrist during his entire freshman year.
