Anyone who's driven through Starkville wouldn't find it shocking that the locals exhibit behaviors seen in third world countries.

Vuvuzela= 127 decibels
Cowbells= 115 decibels

good comparison. We've finally found a noise maker more fricking annoying than the cowbell.

At least the cowbells are only audible when MSU scores or is on defense. Those damn horns never end regardless of what is going on. I don't understand why people just sit there and blow them in the middle of the game when nothing is really going on.

And apparently it was adopted from an American made toy.

Yeah, I really can't fathom that there is a more annoying instrument used in sports than the cowbell. South Africa has really outdone themselves. I just don't understand how they can blow those things throughout the match when nothing is going on. Not to mention I don't know how they're not all deaf.

It's soccer. Nothing is ever going on.

FYFFY (Fixed your fix for you).

Jogging around, kicking a ball back and forth, and flopping when you get "tackled" is not something always going on. If you want a continuous action sport and a running clock, nothing beats rugby. In rugby, you flop, you die. And South African rugby fans do not use those idiotic vuvuzelas.

In all seriousness, one of the great things about both soccer and rugby is the singing and chanting of the fans. The vuvuzelas drown out the fans (and the national anthems and other sounds of the match). They need to be banned.

The action is the build-ups and passing. Though I do enjoy watching rugby as well. I lived in England when I was younger, so I picked up a love for the older cousins of football.

Yes they sound like a swarm of bees have taken over the stadium. Perhaps GT should record that sound and play it after they score a TD or something.

Why did you tell State fans about the Vuvuzela? Now there are going to buy those and play them at games

Those stupid vuvuzelas are so loud that's all you can hear except for the commentators..and it goes on every match for ALL 90 minutes. I can only imagine how loud it must be in the stadiums...People are complaining, players are complaining, and it's making SA look bad.
