LSU won the SEC, Tennessee played for the SEC Championship, Florida finished third in the East, and Alabama went 7-6.

how is this relevant to this year? Thats like saying LSU had a heisman winner in Billy Cannon and Bama has none so Ingram needs to win.

That's what is always so fun about the SEC. It's unpredictable. No one knows how things will shake out next year.

your argument is so full of holes it's actually funny. at first I thought you were doing a respect thread for Bama until I read this line. we love our school... and in fact, most Bama fans aren't used to losing until the past decade came around and we got bowl banned and schollarship losses. so, THEY can act like they've always been there. as for me, I'm 27, so I can only really claim what's going on now... and damn, let me just tell you how glad I am we're finally whipping arse.

This.... Not many coaches can do that. But you also have to give the university credit. It pretty much recruits itself.

Dude, I'm not a fan of the Bama boys or their Gump fans, but they do have a pretty rich tradition.
Sure it may have paved by paying players, cheating refs and the favor of the SEC office, but a rich tradition they have nonetheless.
