True or false? I say true. They seem to be finding their stride and have Memphis, Ole Miss, Vandy and Kentucky left. They'll handle Memphis and Vandy. Ole Miss is imploding predictably, and Kentucky doesn't look very good either. It would be pretty impressive if they finished 9-4 after their atrocious start.

I'm not sure they'll beat Ole Miss. I think they definitely "can" but the game is being played in Oxford if I remember correctly so who knows. Then again, with all the high pre-season expectations for Ole Miss, the Rebels very well might just mail the rest of the season in.

We will finish 8-4 and go to the ChickFilA or Outback. We'll win that and be 9-4.

And our four losses by a combined 20 points. Not too terrible considering what some of you were predicting.

We can definitely lose Ole Miss, but we SHOULD beat Vandy and Kentucky. We will beat Melmphus. If we don't, there are serious issues.

I think we will have a good chance to run the table and wind up in the Cotton/Outback Bowl. It would be a nice turnaround and a good way to finish the season. But we could just as easily wind up 7-5 or 6-6 and in the Peach or Music City Bowls.

Still, at the end of the day, any bowl is better than no bowl this year for the Vols.

If you guys can get any semblance of pressure on Snead, he will give you guys the game. From what I can tell, the TN defense is as good as anyone's in the country. We'll get slaughtered.

I do agree that I think we'll win the rest if our regular season games. I won't predict a bowl game win/loss until I know the opponent. FWIW, saying we'll run the table is only impressive when the whole season is in front of us. We'll win out is more like it

I think Kiffin has done a phenominal job with this team. He took Crompton who was a basket case to a solid SEC quarterback. He has instilled a confidence in a team that hasn't had any in years. We have had one of the toughest schedules in the country, playing the number one team in the country twice at their place. So you can hate Kiffin all you want but the facts are he has came in and done a phenominal job. I honestly believe by 2011 we will be a National Title contender again.

FIFY. Crompton has been helped by dumbing down his plays/reads.

Possibly challenge for the SEC but not the MNC, and only because UGA and UF will be down the next couple of years. If Tenn had to play in the West, no way no how not for another 5 years would they even have a prayer of competing for the league title.

I think Ole Miss will rebound to beat Tennessee. TN beat South Carolina so soundly mainly due to turnovers and points off of (21 I believe). I think Ole Miss will pull another one like they did against Arkansas and win that one - at least I hope so!

You may be right it may take a little longer but I think the way this staff coaches and recruits it will be sooner than most think. I am a homer though so I may be wrong.

Ole Miss may beat them. Hooty always gets his teams up for Tennessee. He hates them.

I wouldn't bet against Kentucky in the UT game. We will have Trevard Lindley back by then. Micah Johnson should be closer to 100%. We may also have Mike Hartline back by then. That gives us a much better team, and a much better chance of winning in our house, barring any more key injuries.
