It pains me to say it, but I can't disagree. Dammit outranked by Arkansas and Auburn. That sucks.

I think you have to put Bama ahead of Arkansas because of head to head record and overall SEC wins.

Not to mention that one of Arky's trips to Atlanta was due to the fact that we weren't eligible.

The horizon makes these decade rankings futile.

No offense to the Razorbacks, but I'd put Alabama ahead of them for the entire body of work. One of Arkansas' West titles came in 2002 when on the field, everyone in the West finished behind Alabama, including LSU and Arkansas who played for the West title. Both were beaten badly at home by Alabama.

Interesting that in some point in a season from 2000 - 2009 every team in the SEC West has been ranked in the top 5 ,except Mississippi State for at least two weeks in a season.Pretty impressive work by a division within the best conference.

You have to point out that Auburn is the only team to go undefeated in teh SEC and regular season this decade as well.

Arkansas can't be put ahead of Alabama. We have a winning record against them and their 2002 SEC West Championship was given to them due to us being on probation. Bama had a better conference record and beat them head-to-head in Fayetteville. That, and the fact that Arkansas has yet to reach a BCS bowl while Alabama's been to 2 this decade.
