Let me ask y'all something. We're notorious around this site for being so delusional... but in all fairness, in retrospect.. have we really been delusional?
We believed that with Saban's arrival that we'd be a championship caliber team. Are we not?

We never expected to have back to back #1 recruiting classes. It happened.
What charges do you opposing fans have that our "delusions" are clearly unwarranted?¿
Likewise, is there REALLY not a more delusional fanbase here? Are we really sure that it's not because Bama happens to be everyone that posts on this website's #1 enemy? Just some food for thought. I have never really understood why we've been called the most delusional. Everything hope we've had for our team seems to be coming true thus far.

I think it has something to do with 98% of your fan base thinking y'all are the end-all be-all of college football. But that's just me.

The football world doesn't revolve around Bama football. That's where my use of delusional comes from. The FACT that Bama fans think it's their given right to be good, which it isn't BTW

Every group of fans is equally delusional and then they point fingers and call each other delusional.
The only group that doesn't seem delustion is MSU. They suck and fully embrace it.

after living in Little Rock for 2 years I found out that Arkansas fans think they have a "traditional power" of a program, which is laughable to me.
say what you want about Bama fans, but you can't say they haven't had a top 5 history.

The gumps have been pretty delusional in the past.
I'll give a specific example...in 2005 when Bama was undefeated for like 9 games...all I heard was how they'd get left out of the championship game (like AU in 2004)...were bitching about being underranked. I mean...it was before they even played LSU. They were not a championship team and felt like they should have already been given the crystal trophy. That is a delusion...a delusion of granduer.
As soon as Saban was hired, smack talk ensued as if they had already achieved something.
I will happily admit that there are not too many delusional gumps on this board. Much of the recent smack talk has been earned. <cough> Utah <cough>

If by your definition of "traditional power" you mean "top 25 program," then you're right, that's what Arkansas fans think.

The amount of homers and delusional fans is off the charts. For LSU fans to call any fanbase delusional when one of the ultimate delusion boards is linked on the sidebar of this website is silly.

By "traditional power" i think of a consistent top 5 school. Just because you are ranked does not make you a power.
