My Interpretation of Why People Hate Bama

Because we are EVERYWHERE and we are PROUD!!! You can't go anywhere(forum, etc) that involves the SEC or a team we play that does not involve a dominant Bama influx. We are the New England Patriots of College Football in the SEC... we are the Chicago Bulls of the 1990s. If you don't believe it... if you want to disagree... take a look at this board.
Love us or hate us, we are the most talked about SEC team. The hate talk that springs from every other sec fanbase, the attention we receive, and the amount of Bama fans on this LSU board just proves our extent as a fan base. If you don't agree, then quit making new topics about us every half hour, whether you are an Aubbie, LSUian, Gator, Volunqueer, or whatever.
We are the most hated team in the SEC, and I take that as a compliment.

Wrong! You are the most hated because you live in the past and continually ride on the Bear's coattails, even though he coached in an era with no scholly limits, etc. We do not hate you because we envy you. We hate you because you make yourself hateable!

Gumps need to understand this so listen closely. The majority of people dont hate bama as a team, they hate you, the fanbase. Statements like this are why, you're arrogant, delusional, and self-righteous. Noone is "jealous" of the bama football program and noone is "panicking" over the bama football program. The only reason their are bama topics on here is to piss off you, the fanbase, not because we give a shite about your team. Having the most hated team is one thing (which you do not), having the most hated fanbase is another.

We are in the era of the BCS. Like it or not it has changed college football. At this point 1998-present will probably be lumped together in history until some other monumental change.
People hate Alabama for the same reason they hate another media darling BCS era underachiever.
Alabama is 82-56 in the BCS era with an 0-2 record in BCS bowls. The other school is 78-56 and has an 0-3 record in BCS bowls. I think every Bama fan would think that other team is talked about to much and is over hyped.

Back before I knew about how ridiculously insane and delusional you guys were, I'd pull for Alabama. Never had a problem with them. I fricking despise them now, mainly because of the fans.

FWIW - the OP pretty much sums up why a lot of people dislike Alabama (not in his explinations, but in his spoiled brat sense of entitlement attitude).
I don't dislike Alabama at all, but I can't stand some of their fanbase (although to be fair EVERY fanbase has those idiots - Bama's are just either more plentiful or more outspoken).
