Ours being lower might be a function of how much we are spending on renovations as well.

I assumed this is strictly just income, and not profit. Our profit would be way lower as we are paying off the bonds for the North Endzone expansion, Mal Moore Athletic Building, Bryant Hall, and in the near future the South End Zone expansion.

These are revenue numbers...

Of course, the recruiting gain in playing in Atlanta and Jacksonville can't really be measured
Try Little Rock on for size twice a year.

I'm not sure how our basketball revenue numbers are now that we suck, but that used to go a long way in bridging the gap between our revenue numbers in football and the rest of the SEC.
19,200 season tickets with waiting list in addition to a ton of suites is/was a huge revenue generator for us.
Has helped our program immensely over the past 30 years.

Wonder how the new ESPN/SEC contract will affect those #'s? I assume it depends upon the individual member institutions accounting methods. Isn't it worth 15 million per school, per year? Covering all sports, however.

How does Auburn do it?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aubbies buy alot of Auburn stuff
Also, AU grads earn more than any school in the SEC by mid career (which is early 40's) except for UF grads which avg a little less than $2k per year more than AU grads.
I would say this translates pretty well here - better educated AU grads making/spending/contributing more money.

That seems to be the difference. AU had 8 home games to our 7.
That was Bama's choice. Remember AU was given the chance for that and turned it down due to the lost revenue, well it shows up here.
This only shows what the football brings in doesn't show what the community gets from game day etc..
Auburn has traditionally performed very well in this category.
It seems private schools are not on the list as technically ND makes the most but that is due to the fact it is not in a conference.
That said USCw doesn't bring in very much cash from its athletic program, que the "there's so much to do in LA no one cares unless we are winning" crew.

has a lot more to do with only playing 6 homes games and not owning the coliseum
I'm not even sure if USC releases their revenue numbers

I knew it! That UF grad down the hall makes more than me.

This list is not 100% accurate. Different schools report different numbers.

I hear the Walton's make up the balance so don't worry about it.

This was released during the summer. Our AD was on the radio and said that different schools interpret "revenue" different ways.
