MSU vs LSU

ESPN the magazine had it as a trap game for LSU. I doubt it happens, but MSU has had the ability the last few years to upset somebody they shouldnt at home.

MSU over Florida? No question it will be if it happens. For the record, I don't think it will but I will damn sure be happy to get into the locker room after that one.

Dan Mullen knows most of what we have in our bag of tricks coupled with the fact that we inexplicably play like absolute shite in the state of Mississippi makes me awful nervous. Obviously, the talent gap is significant, but that hasn't stopped some close calls and a couple embarrassing losses from happening in the past.

Last time LSU came to state it was a Thursday night game at the beginning of the season. This year it will be the 4th week of the season. Also the LSU vs MSU game will be the week before LSU goes to Georgia so hopefully they may be overlooking the bulldogs.

Personally I can see us upsetting LSU at Home before I see us upsetting Florida at home. Both I doubt will happen, but if they do I will probabally get blacked out drunk after the game.

You've never had a talent gap like this.

Probably right, we just tend to come out very flat in those games in Miss for whatever reason. We always seem to get those 11:30 ET start times too, which don't help us. Hopefully not this year now that fewer games will be on Raycom.

someone beating florida. Florida is such a heavy favorite in all SEC games that I think they lose at least one.

No, but it's not as far off as you might think. The year we lost in Starkville (aka 2 days before Ron Zook got canned) I think it was pretty wide. Won the NC 2 years later with many of the same players that were on that team.

That's why it was the ultimate embarassment.

WTF? You have to be the dumbest LSU fan on here. Seeing that you don't even know the schedule, maybe calling you a "fan" is a bit extreme.

Georgia, the Dawgs have a history of owning the Gators.

Edit; don't know why that was split up into 2 posts, my bad
