Crazy that Kelly probably got fired because him and the dumbass LSU doctors somehow missed this

EIther way, BK just kept trotting him out there when he was obviously nowhere near 100%. He may not have know the root cause. But, he still knew about the injury.

I think it would be crazier that Kelly would be oblivious to his QB's pain.

That said, I don't think anyone has mistaken Kelly as a "player's coach". He does not seem to give a rat's arse about the welfare of his players.

Brian Kelly should be arrested for what he did to that kid.

And have to forfeit his buyout due to said arrest!.....

I couldn't believe some of the stories that were coming out about him from LSU players. How can you have a player on your team (any player) and never have one single conversation with him?

We win. They're both gone.

Maybe the cyst developed as a result of the injury.

Every school has that "great on paper, failure in practice" coach. Kelly was definitely LSU's.

First Greg Brooks, now Nussmeier. Once is an anomaly, twice is a pattern.

Not shocking considering BK killed a kid

It’s apparent that player health and safety are not important to him

I mean…we’re talking about a guy who was partially complicit in the death of a grad assistant.

Alabama did the same or worse with Simpson, so we have no room to talk.

Hopefully both Nuss and Simpson find success in the NFL, because they didn’t find much in college.

This is a shite take. Both showed flashes and it wouldn’t surprise me if either find success in the NFL. When healthy, they’re capable of making big time throws and managing the game.

Just playing devil's advocate here, this reeks of the sort of thing his agent would "leak" right before the draft.

I'm rooting for the kid and hope he recovers fully, but something about this is making my spidey-senses tingle.

"Trust me guys, this kid is great now, it was the previous place that missed something soooo simple lol."

“Both showed flashes.”

Both left college with little to show for it other than some padded stats here and there.

My point was, neither were 100%. Neither performed near their full potential last year. And I wish them better luck in the NFL.

“They don’t do shite because they were injured” isn’t the original point.

When healthy, both performed well.
