This is the type of omen that forewarns LSU having a 4-8 season

Notice the wind! He miscalculated.

We all enjoy watching them but it's not worth someone's life. If it's gusty, it should be a no go or at least an alternate landing spot without tailgating cars in it.

Spring game is for working out the kinks.

the skydiver harbinger has to make James Franklin feel a little uneasy - considering he thought VT could be a soft landing for him after the Penn State dismissal -

Looks like the other parachuter that went first, landed behind the stadium in a field. Not sure if that was intentional or not, which I now wonder if this guy was supposed to land on the actual field or behind it too

He and the drag from the flag he had were fighting him all the way. He probably should have pulled out and turned with the wind and landed outside the stadium. As soon as he reached the airstream that was flowing over and around the mega screen it was to late and he started dropping like a rock.
He probably would have made it into the stadium without the flag. I'm no expert, but they probably should have never jumped. Cranes operators have charts for allowable picks with wind speed, height, weight, reach, etc. Don't know if parachutists with large flags have something similar.
