I'm still an LSU baseball fan...

I've seen some amazing wins, and even worse losses. Hell, I even sat in a TOC on a base in Iraq... while being attached to 2-8 Cav out of Tx and watched LSU beat Tx for that '09 CWS National Championship.
But this season has to be one of the biggest disappointments in LSU baseball. Especially when you look at what they paid for and where they started the season.
Watching this team is like trying to turn a golf cart around in a hallway.

Last year was the most disappointing season in the history of A&M baseball.

Rantards don't deal in logic.
Nobody hates their NC coaches more than Rantards.
Every NC was won despite the coach. Even Saban's NC is criticized because of the Florida loss and some "lucky" situations.
Hell, a lot of LSU fans (radio callers- the precursors to Rantards) proclaimed loudly that he lost his fire after winning it all and that 2003 was a fluke, 2004 was the standard with Saban and they hope he went to Miami.
They'll deny it now, but that's the truth.

How much of this year's team won that Natty? How many players on this year's team got essential playing time during last year's NC run?
We won a Natty in 2023, and didn't get to the Super Regionals in 2024. That 2024 team became the core of the 2025 CWS champions.
And who puts any stock into preseason rankings?
