That performance in the Final Four set Women's College hoops back fifty years. UCLA was not much better.
Then almost getting run ruled by Alabama in softball, as the number one team in the nation. Losing to a pitcher that could not hit the broad side of a barn and was removed in the first inning. Only to come back into the game in the 3rd and shut the T-Sippers out.
Going to be must watch TV in Austin this weekend when OU comes to town. I make no predictions because both teams are stacked.

Those first 3 quarters were comically bad. It was laughable. Both teams looked completely incompetent. UCLA wins by 7 and turned it over 23 times.

UCLA struggled inbounding the ball so much they had to blow multiple timeouts. That poor UCLA guard was just dribbling around like a maniac until she just bounced it off someone or handed it to Texas.
At least Texas did that one thing well. That and the kid they had reviewing missed calls. He was the MVP for Texas in that game.

You are right. UCLA looked like they had never seen full court pressure. They looked very poorly coached. Attempting to throw over the pressure past half court was a head shaker.
Of course in half court offense they also threw a few looping passes across the court and somehow got away with them. All of this will be instant turnovers vs South Carolina.
The irony for me is if Texas played UCLA 10 times they would win 9 of them. What a turd they laid last night.

UCLA will play better in the final. Their guards are suspect. Especially Walker. She's the weak link for the Bruins.

Longhorn fans are suspiciously quiet today. This is not normal behavior from them. Maybe they are crying tears over at Surly?

Welcome to being a Texas fan. Some of you signed up for it - and y'all take precedent and I will never tell you how to feel. Some of us had it bestowed upon us - fairly or unfairly. It's all the same shite. It hurts just the same.
I feel so bad for players like Rori.
I want to say something about taking the lesson in stride and moving on and coming back stronger next year etc. etc. but this really fricking sucks and that pablum falls flat right now.

More like a banner day for sooner and aggie fans. Since they didn't have their own team to cheer for, it's always good to cheer for whoever TX is playing.

Feel free to hate watch the OU v Baylor basketball game that is on in three hours, since you can't watch Longhorn basketball anymore.

Honestly never think I have sat and watched a full women's basketball game in my life..ever..no I am am positive I never have. Now volleyball, gymnastics, etc I will watch for very obvious reasons..unless you know someone involved women's sports are very, very, very boring.
