The bar has been set 9 wins or better for LSU year one or it’s a failure.

If they go 9-3 this season the Rantards will lose their minds.

Rest easy LSU folk. We all know that Lane will never lose a game.

There sure are a lot of people worried about how LSU does in sports.

Depends on what the losses look like. Were they well coached, close games? Or did we look like we didn’t have a clue what we were doing on the field, like last year.

I don’t understand why some of you post things like this. No one ever put the burden or expectation of perfect seasons on this hire. Being competitive and making a playoff is all any of us want.

I'm seeing 7-5, maybe 6-6.

Isn't less than 9 wins a failure at every school?

Low expectation having mother frickers.

I didn’t realize Josh Pate was the authoritative figure on expectations for every college team

50M in NIL puts the burden. Expectations are sky high with most LSU fans. All I hear about at work is how good LSU will be next year. Playoffs, etc

Did he talk to the fanbase? 10-2 is the bar.

I'd be good with 9 wins. That's a fair assessment considering.

We just want to be competitive and having a non-injured QB will help us greatly.

Already starting with the moral victory talk.

The goal is to win the SEC Championship and National Championship. Anything less than that is a failure.
